Two school teams joined six other school teams and took part in a very well organised Year 5/6 mixed multi-sports competition at Furze Platt Junior School recently.
After a practice period each team tried their skills at tennis, football dribbling and shooting, Kwik cricket, rounders, netball and agility.
Both teams showed great team spirit and effort on a very hot afternoon, trying news sports for the first time.
Very well done to the twelve girls and five boys who were representing the school for the first time.
Their behaviour was outstanding, as was commented on by the organisers.
