Plants to School Day - Monday 14th May
This year the school is re-applying for its Green Flag status and as part of our action plan the Eco Group really want to improve our outside spaces, such as the flower troughs outside the year one modular classroom and in particular our Bee and Butterfly Garden located by the doors to the Lower Junior classrooms.  At the moment both of these areas are looking very bare.  We would love to plant lots of beautiful plants and flowers in this area to make it a haven for wildlife and increase the well-being of everyone around it.  We would like to ask you to bring in a flower, shrub or even some compost to help us on this day.  If you would prefer to leave a donation this would also be very gratefully received.  Please check our Eco section on our school website for updates.
Walk to School Week: 21st – 25th May
Please put this date in your diary and consider making an effort to walk to school during this week; an alternative if you cannot walk the whole way is Park and Stride, i.e. parking about 10-15 minutes away from school and then walking the rest of the way.
